Statue of Leonidas
 

 
The marble statue of Leonidas takes place in Archaeological Museum of Sparta. It was found in the Temple of Athena Chalkioikos at the Acropolis of Sparta and dated back to the second quarter of the 5th century B.C.

The statue is with helmet of Attic type. The upper part of the body was preserved but hands are missing.
